DEDICATION

This entire magazine, not just the first issue, but every one that is yet to come, the good ones and the not so good ones, are dedicated to my dad, Branislav Koledin, whose friendship the world lost much too soon, on August 24, 2001. He wrote the following a few months before he died, after a few glasses of the fruits of his favorite hobby, wine, and it perfectly expresses that philosophy with which he so often touched the souls he encountered.

Sometimes you wonder-Am I happy or not? What is true happiness?

Just listening to Tuck & Patti at an unbelievably high volume (around 19 on my amp).

I've decided that the success of a man is measured by the amount of passion he is able to exude. He is not limited by what other people think. He is his own man.

Take a matador for instance-very successful, even if he is impaled by the bull. He has no regrets. He has done his thing with all the fury and glory that he can possibly muster. So if fate is to be such, he is left not as a failure but very much satisfied. He has gone out doing what he likes doing best. He, as a master of his craft, gets the bull to trust him…and the multitude of fans to trust him. Isn't it great!? All for the passion of the art for the art-he even gets a lot of lovin' cause people are drawn into passion since so few are truly passionate.

Jim Jones of Ghana was passionate. So is James Brown. Are you? Now is the time to review and take action. Go for it! Speak Out! Do your thing and have fun! Cause if you're not having fun, you are not being passionate. If you are passionate in whatever endeavor you try, when you get my age, you'll feel satisfied. You'll be able to get to the Roland Kirk Bright Moment's mode. Cause if you aren't satisfied, you can't possibly have any bright moments. That's sad, so sad. So I say-Go for it!!

Love, Dad
