"Falling Up" is sweet pop equally influenced by Brian Wilson and Weezer, and listening to Digby is kind of like going back a few years in time to an alternative past where Matthew Sweet was obsessed with Radiohead's "The Bends". This band seems focused and determined to write the perfect pop ditty, however, and this may be as impossible to do as writing the great American novel. But you've got to hand it to the band for trying. The results of their efforts are compulsively listenable to the point the point of being overtly addictive, and they are a lot better for you then cigarettes.
