The Juliet Dagger
Turn Up The Death
Good Charamel Records
Juliana Hatfield and Letters To Cleo are a few bands that came to mind listening to The Juliet Dagger's album. Spunky female vocals, crunchy guitars and effortless melodies signify the band's sound. You might think that the band is about a decade too late, but Turn Up The Death sounds as fresh as a soft, warm cookie straight out of the oven, and has the audio equivalent of just as much sugar. This record has too much energy to not inspire movement. And if that's not enough, they cover "Our Lips Are Sealed", a classic that definitely garners my thumbs up.
