tryst - hotel two-way
Tryst
Hotel Two-Way
MH Records

Tryst's latest effort, "Hotel Two-Way" is the sound of a band maturing, while being true to the spark that led to start creating music in the first place. The band has gotten even better at pristine pop song-craft. It sounds as fashionable as Belle And Sebastian and egalitarian as any guitar driven pop band that has made headway on the charts recently (Fountains Of Wayne, Ok Go, etc). If the Brooklyn scene wasn't so obsessed with the '80s, Tryst might be the biggest buzz band in the borough. But until they break, you can turn your friends on to little gems like "Chain Reaction" and "Travelogue".
