v.k. lynne - black halo
V.K. Lynne
Black Halo
Self-released

If you dig the hard livin', hard lovin' music of Shelby Lynne, there's a good chance you'll dig V.K. Lynne. She's a little bit country and a lot rock 'n' roll. And that combo makes her a versatile artist who can appeal to a wide variety of listeners. She could do just as well opening for Willie Nelson as she could for, say, Widespread Panic. I'd like to think that American radio has taken a more enlightened approach to female artists. If they have, than V.K. could achieve a massive crossover success. Her songwriting is sharp enough to get the critics yapping and her voice would sound really good coming over the airwaves as you drive in to the dessert looking for whatever's next.
